Shrimp on the Barbie? 🍤 🍢
Ramen version 3. The “finished” product as it were. Soft boil egg and broth were pretty much on point with my version 2 build. So for this one I added carrots, green onions, chili garlic sauce, and some bbq pork. Tried a dif brand of noodle too (not a dry pack style) and would say they are the only thing I was not 100% on board with. Taste was fine, but texture was not. Overall THIS is how I will be enjoying #ramen from now on. #salemoregon
My attempt at a better then instant ramen. Homemade broth and delicious soft boiled eggs. This was version 2 of this experiment. Version 1 was bland at best. Wrong noodles and really no taste from the broth. Only the soft boiled egg part got figured out. .
For version 2 I removed all veggies and anything else in the broth and concentrated ONLY on making the broth good. It was way better then v1 or the little pack that comes with it. .
For version 3 I’ll take what I’ve learned and add back in veggies and possibly some other things (not sure what yet). With the broth and egg figured out it’s really only fine tuning ingredients to customize it.
.
I’ll be on the look out for better/different noodles. I used standard instant noodles but would like to upgrade them. Once I figure this all out I’ll share the recipe.🍜

Homemade ramen ( not instant anyway) . Hope it tastes as good as it looks. 🤔 #salemoregon
