Drenched

Drenched

Ever had wet feet from walking through thick, wet grass? You know, when your shoes turn that dark, dark color and it soaks way down through all the layers of your shoe and sock to get your feet wet? Then you are cold and wet from being drenched yet you still trudge down the wet, damp, soggy and sometimes miserable path ahead of you?

Now imaging that as an emotion. Drenched in pain, sweat, mist, rain, doubt, sun, cold, warmth, hate, dread, anticipation or love. The days go in and out with all of that surrounding you and feeding/stealing your soul all at once. Sometimes you really wish you had thicker socks.

Captured with Fuji X-Pro1 and 35 Ζ’1.4 lens.

Seasoned with VSCO Film for Aperture 3.
